Escape the outside world & retreat to the mountains of this private estate, where 'gin clear" rivers greet you upon arrival. Try your hand at landing that wily bucket list brown trout. And depending on the time of the year, you might be fortunate to spot salmon running. Explore the rugged & in some parts, untouched terrain, to fish one of the most secluded fly fishing spots in New Zealand. Your accommodation options are only a short walk from the river. And should you require a guide, catering or a helicopter, it is all available upon request. We encourage all anglers (who are lucky enough to secure a booking for the season) to exercise "catch & release" etiquette to ensure fish stocks have an opportunity to mature & flourish. The "Adventurous Fisherman" package is a self catered option for the more independent client who is happy to explore their way around the property & go at their own pace. Management will initially meet with you for a key exchange & run down of the property & then you are left to fish & holiday at your leisure. A four wheel drive vehicle is necessary & the use of a satellite phone or EPURB is advisable. A satellite phone can be organised with management if required.
