Todd, Sandra & their children Zandi & Jax in the
Magdalen Valley, Glenhope Station
Glenhope Station is run by Todd & Sandra Alfeld.
The couple took onboard the farm with the support of their parents Jude & Pete, who originally acquired shares in the property in 2012.
Both Todd & Sandra grew up on beef farms in Murchison & Northland & met whilst on OE in Perth.
However nothing could truly prepare them for the challenges they would face in this spectacular but unforgiving high country environment.
From fording rivers to muster stock & collect groceries, to being snowed in during winter without power or water.
All awhile adjusting to an isolated style of living.

Since moving to the farm they have worked hard to revitalise land engulfed in broom & gorse, grown their herd of beef cows, deer & sheep, bought out foreign investors, "tied the knot" & had two beautiful boys.
Prior to the Alfelds moving to the Glenhope, Tourism wasn't a major focus & as they understand it, the property was closed to the general public.
The Family would like to celebrate a new era in the history of Glenhope & invite you to experience this piece of paradise first hand with a range of private stays & guided adventure activities exclusive to the property.
